Free Current Events site
When we started Core F, which was my Dd's Grade 6, we heard about CNN Student News, and their weekday, ten minute broadcast. I am so glad we heard about this site, but couldn't help wishing that we would have heard of it a little sooner! It is a special broadcast just for students; explaining the current events of each day. It covers a lot of events from around the world, not just American topics.
