Week 10
March 23-27, 2015
We were very busy and on the go this week; which was nice. The woman I met last week, who has two daughters, close in age to my Dd, invited us to her house for a visit this week (on Thursday).
The other major event(s) was that we went to the Meijer Sculpture Garden on Tuesday and Friday mornings; and it was fantastic!!!! I plan on going at least twice next week too! I don't think the butterfly exhibit goes on for much longer, and I don't want to miss it!
We also went to the library on Friday. It felt good to be out and about, not concerned about the roads; even though the temperatures this week were between 10-35 degrees most days. It looked like it would be nice outside; but it was frigid!
There is a really neat "wetlands" section that had geese, birds, and this swan (who was actually mean to the other ducks!) |

There is a small building put up in the butterfly exhibit that has shelf after shelf of chrysalis. There was always many butterflies hatching, and filling up their wings. |

Our snails have now had their THIRD egg case! Yikes!

ReplyDeleteYour snails Tracy.... oh my! You'll need a bigger tank soon.
Nice to read and see the busy hands projects ... though I tried to ignore the bob cutting comments (sad face ... all that lovely hair; gone. )
Praying over the sale of your property!!
I fought the hair cutting for as long as I could; but she was determined. I was in mourning for 2 days! She has such thick wonderful hair, and can do so many cool things with it. I totally agree with the sad face! Such a shame!!! We've been praying over you sale too! Sending you an Easter basket full of goodies, and a lovely chat!
ReplyDeleteOh we need to see a picture of Dd's new hair!!! Rachel also got most of her hair cut off last week! A good change..... LOVE the felt flowers!!!
