Week 32 "A/LOW"
We were due one good week of lessons--and we finally got it! We had our field trip on Monday to the Indiana State Museum (pictures of our day following this post) to see the SPECTACULAR exhibits! The exhibits we went to see were the Star Wars exhibit, Millinium Falcon, and the 5 Generations of Lincolns. We had a really great 5 1/2 hours at the museum! We could have stayed there a lot longer. It was really fun.
Tuesday through Friday we did our lessons and had a pretty normal week--library/garden/piano/BrainPop/BrainPop, Jr./BrainPop,UK/fun books/etc. etc. We did have our second week doing something new---Carole-a new friend on the SL forums, that is from New Zealand had told me about a website that shows video's for the Periodic Table. We have stopped by there for 3 weeks now; but this week we really got into a daily habit of watching some of the video's. It is from the University of Nottingham in England. That was new and fun for us; and it looks like it is officially becoming a habit!
The other "extra" thing from this week (Sat.night) was that Dd and Dh were invited to a Indianapolis Indians vs the Louisville Bats baseball game in downtown Indy. This was a very last minute thing...they had a super great time and brought me home some cotton candy. I'll download some pictures later.

She also made a neat piece out of felt--it is a circle with an inset capital "I" with a different color; perhaps a coaster to place your cup on? Or just a thing...she did a nice job. She saw the plan in a book and went for it.
Dvd--this week we checked out a movie from our library:
