I don't use my dryer; except on rare occassions to save money and to save electricity.  One of the favorite questions I've gotten from my Dd's friends is: "Do you even OWN a dryer???"  Yes, we do--but this is how we dry our stuff----

Here is our little set-up:

We bought an umbrella stand holder--it's the round piece on the bottom- to put the dryer rack inside instead of outside, like how it is usually used.

You can see one of the three wooden racks we have in this photo.

It quickly and easily comes down and can be put in a corner, out of your way.

We usually put on our ceiling fan, and the fan by the window on chilly days when we need a little help getting things dry.
