Dd and I stayed with Dh during his first week at his new job in Grand Rapids, MI.  This was after his very first day on Monday June 16th---he got off work and we headed for the beach!  What a great way to start a new path / adventure in our lives.  It was perfect; except our dog couldn't come with us to the beach.  I still think the Holland State Park was (so far) the nicest, comfiest beach we have been to.

Dd took some pictures of the clouds above our house in Indiana---didn't have a good place to post them, so I fit it in here!

 I didn't get to go with Dd to this exhibit; the "L" family graciously took her.  She was kind enough to take a ton of pictures of every step they took.  I've put a few up for this blog.  Also, wasn't she kind to take such great pictures of things "tea" related!

 This picture is good b/c you are looking at the Grand River, which was on our right as we walked along the path.  But on the left was the big pond with all the geese, ducks, and beaver.  So you had 2 big bodies of water; one on each side!

 

 Twelve babies for this momma!~

 Here is the beaver that was working so diligently!

There was lots of pond scum/algae on the water.

Those pictures are not all of the bookshelves...but you get the idea of why it took me so long to pack!  Most of the bookcases had another bookcase on top of it, or boxes, or crate to get the whole length of the floor to ceiling in books.  We had it filled from ceiling to floor on all four sides of the room, except the little nook in the corner with the 'husband' pillows---where we could snuggle and read together (with Sophie too!)
