Cooper's Hawk (3-9-14)
We looked up all the different predictor birds to finally figure out which bird has been visiting our backyard; and our final conclusion is the Cooper's Hawk. What has been throwing us is that we HEAR a Red-Tailed Hawk almost every day; but those don't come and sit on your fence! Here is our visitor today:

I learn something new every time I read your blog. I never heard of a Cooper's Hawk before today and I read a little bit about them. Interesting!
