Oct. 29-Nov 2nd, 2012. Core E. Wk 9 "LOW"
American History-Civil War time
This was Halloween week--so that is always extra fun and exciting. Dd dressed up as a Pirate and we went around our neighborhood and collected some fun candy! We also had a few extra's scheduled in. Monday was a normal lesson day. Tuesday, Dh took a vacation day and went with us to Swim & Gym. We also did a half day of lessons. Wednesday we did our lessons, went to the dentist (where Dd lost another tooth-and no cavities!!!). Thursday we cleaned up most of the day, had a mini tea party, and did another half day of lessons. Friday, we went to Beef & Boards (playhouse) and saw the play Cinderella with LHE. Then we were invited to the C family's house for lunch; and then home for our lessons. This week Dd read lots, played the piano, and shot her bow & arrow A LOT!! She chased off a pesky hawk that kept coming to our backyard feeders to catch a songbird. She made a fort in the back corner of our yard with string, sheets, blanket, and a chair. She really had a lot of fun being a kid.
