Indiana State Fair 8-9-12

Indiana State Fair~ August 2012

This is almost the same year Alls Chambers tractor we use at the farm (ours is a 1954)--can't you see me driving it?!  Our paint job isn't as shiny as this one's!  But, orange none the less!

This is Grampy!!!  One of my favorite people~

This is the one photo Dd wanted me to keep on the blog, out of all the animal pictures she took.  I don't have a lot of memory space on the blog (or so blogspot.com tells me) so I've cut out some of my pictures after they have been on the site for a few weeks.
This lamb was 8 days old!! born at the fair!

We always go to the DNR building and see the fish, birds, and nature exhibits.  This year there was a test on your birding knowledge.  They would show you one feather and have you write down which bird you thought it went with--and the bird would be found in Indiana.  It was really fun to do.

We always enjoy the Bee/4H buildings, goats, horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, water preserve--where you can get all the free well water you can drink, tractors, and an elephant ear to finish us off!
