After growing up going to FDL, I decided to name my homeschool (like my daughter) after the place I learned the most from. Sharing what books we've added into each SL core, by Core and Week. I'm also sharing our events with family and friends who check in on us here. If nothing else, I'm keeping a great, though epic, transcript of my Dd's education! May the good Lord bless and keep each of you, whether near or far away!
Congratulations guys!!!! That is AWESOmE!!!!!!! Wish we could come over and hold the chicks!! Wouldn't Laura love it?! how fun to have one born today!! the "extra" day!
It has been really rough. I've messed up a lot, learned a lot, and prayed a LOT. We have nine chicks in the brooder house with Dd, and one mostly out of her shell in the incubator. The other twelve eggs haven't pipped yet; maybe tomorrow? One of the nine chicks in the brooder either has a large umbilical cord or something isn't right with her---praying for her. It is so heart crushing to see one with a problem; it takes the shine off the beauty of the day as my heart is so concerned for her. I'm ready to do the day over, and differently now that I have a better understanding of the process. I appreciate my dearest friends sharing this special day with us! Love to you Heather, Chelle, and Christie! You ladies make my life so much more love-filled! Thank you for embodying Jesus's love for us through your actions towards me---hugs to each of you!
