Blood Moon
September 27, 2015
We stayed up to see the Blood Moon. We had a LOT of clouds that interfered, but it was really special to experience. Here are a few of our pictures:

After growing up going to FDL, I decided to name my homeschool (like my daughter) after the place I learned the most from. Sharing what books we've added into each SL core, by Core and Week. I'm also sharing our events with family and friends who check in on us here. If nothing else, I'm keeping a great, though epic, transcript of my Dd's education! May the good Lord bless and keep each of you, whether near or far away!
You got some great pictures!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Christie! I tried to delete your double post, but it didn't work...ah well. Did you get to see the moon on Sunday night? I was also wondering if Chelle, Kendra, and Joy could see it in their parts of the world. I felt so bad for all the people who thought the world was going to end...how horrific it must have been for those people! Yikes. Glad we got to just enjoy it without any big fears connected to it. Good to see you here!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much more exciting to see blood moon pictures from someone you know as opposed to 'official' online pictures :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!!
We didn't get to see it in our part of the hemisphere - bar a moon that was much closer to the earth than usual.
