Funeral,a 50th B-day Party, Lessons- July 9-13, 2012

We had a bit of a surprise week. Aunt Johnny died on Sat.(7-8), so we drove back to southern Indiana for her services on Thursday. It was a big funeral, grave-side, and luncheon. Then on Saturday we drove to western Indiana for Uncle Jeff's surprise birthday party. On Wednesday our church had it's annual "bike day". We put our bikes in the van and drove to church and waited for everyone to arrive. Then we drove to America's house. I took a small group of kids on a bike ride. It was very hot and very dry--but all-in-all we had a good time. It is always a wonderful day when I get to visit with America. She so reminds me of my G'ma. I miss my G'ma sooo much....America helps. Tuesday we took our friend with us to the library. She usually comes home and plays with us some; but she had to hurry home to work on her 4H quilt. Socially this was a HUGE week for us.
