We are on a "Left-Overs Week". I am reading "The Birchbark House" aloud to dd, and dd is reading "Pocahontas and the Strangers". She liked "A Lion to Guard Us". We had a rough Monday (a theme I think) and just got our basics in. Tuesday got back on track and fit in Science. We also had a fun extra-a planetarium! At BUtler University at their planetarium/observatory. It was a lot of fun even if the huge telescope wasn't used due to all the clouds. We saw a show in the dome by college students about all the planets in our solar system. We can go back and visit again on clear days; which I never knew about this resource.
