Feb 16, 2011

We are on week 4 of the IG -Week 7 of Core 3. This is an "IG" week. We are reading Secret of the Andes and enjoying it. We are pretty busy with co-op activities this week. Today we go into downtown Indy to "The Learning Curve" at the 'central' library. It is suppose to be a really fun time. We have co-op 2 hours on Thursday and a different co-op on Friday for a 1 hour Gym class.

We had our MIL and FIL spend Sunday afternoon to Monday evening with us. DD did her math page with them. She showed them how she does Rosetta Stone. We all played a money board game (Money Bags) and Scrambled States of America board game. Then MIL and Dd played piano/gave piano lesson and sang together. So for a day that I thought was going to be "un-educational" it turned out VERY educational!!!

We are still reading Weetamoo- the Royal Diaries book. We got sidetracked with a new book that DH read to us each evening the last two weeks. We are still really happy with our nightly devotional (Sword Fighting).

I think that is about it. We are busy-for a big change! We are usually only balancing our lessons. We have co-op activities for the next 6 weeks and then it is back to famine! Right now it is feast time! So funny how that works. But, maybe God will bless us with some local friends for DD to have playdates with often.
