Proboscis in use

This is what the greenhouse building look like from afar.  There are acres and acres of nature areas, playgrounds, sculptures, trails...

A Blue Morpho landed on Dd!!!  She got a lot of attention from the people who walked by...not sure she liked that!

I got the butterfly to come to my finger and then let another young lady, that was mesmerized by it, to hold it.  She was SO happy about that!

This is a Milkweed plant--- I'd really encourage you to find Milkweed in the spring, when it is small, and transplant it to your own yard.  I found plants in our neighborhood "common" areas, that were mowed all the time, and dug out Milkweed plants to put in my yard for the Monarch's.  Monarch's will only eat (and lay eggs) Milkweed plants.

Can you see the two huge Monarch caterpillars on these Milkweed plants?
